House Passes CHIPS and Science Act with Himes Support
Today, Congressman Jim Himes (CT-04) voted in the House of Representatives for the CHIPS Act of 2022. The bill passed by a bipartisan vote of 243-187. By increasing domestic production of semiconductor chips and investing in science and technology, the CHIPS and Science Act will create hundreds of thousands of jobs, alleviate supply chain issues, strengthen our national security, lower costs, and reestablish American leadership in research and development.
