NORWALK, CT—Congressman Jim Himes (CT-4) will host a free seminar on the federal resources available to business owners on Tuesday, May 1 from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Norwalk City Hall. The event will connect business owners with federal, state, and local lending and financing programs, procurement and contracting opportunities, and other valuable programs.

Attendees will receive presentations from various federal agencies and then have the chance to meet individually with representatives from over a dozen agencies, organizations, and lending institutions, including the U.S. Small Business Administration, U.S. General Services Administration, U.S. Internal Revenue Service, Connecticut Procurement Technical Assistance Program, and Connecticut Department of Administrative Services.

All small business owners and representatives are welcome to attend this free event.
