Port Security Grant Announcement
Congressman Himes will join Senator Blumenthal, Mayor Ganim and state officials to announce new funding from the Department of Homeland Security and Federal Emergency Management Agency for the 2020 Port Security Grant Program. Over $1,000,000 in grant funding will go to towns and cities in Connecticut’s Fourth District to help pay for maritime security risk management, port resiliency & recovery, and anti-terrorism infrastructure development.

Visit to Small Businesses in Westport
The Westport Chamber of Commerce will lead Congressman Himes on a tour of small businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19 and Tropical Storm Isaias. The Congressman will hear from entrepreneurs about how they have adapted operations to ensure the safety of both customers and staff.
