Art Competition
We are now accepting submissions for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition!
Meeting talented student artists and their families from across the district is something we look forward to each spring. I encourage all students in grades 9-12 who reside in or attend high school in Connecticut’s Fourth Congressional District to submit a piece of artwork to the 2025 Congressional Art Competition.
How to Enter the 2025 Congressional Art Competition
- Review the 2025 Rules for Students and Teachers
- Submit the Student Release Form followed by one photo of your art piece and any other required materials to Shindler.auguste@mail.house.gov by 3 pm on Friday, April 25, 2025
Entries will be judged by a panel of local artists and representatives of arts organizations in Southwest Connecticut. Additionally, I will hold a reception to honor this year’s participants and announce the winning entries. The winning entry from our district will be displayed for one year at the United States Capitol alongside artwork from every congressional district across the country.
You can find more information on the competition, including the rules and examples of past entries an winners on the House of Representatives’ website here and see last year’s winners featured below.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Shindler Auguste in my Bridgeport office at (203) 333-6600 or Shindler.Auguste@mail.house.gov. I look forward to seeing your work.
