“Republicans claim that their funding bill is a “straightforward continuing resolution”—they’re lying. It opens the door for DOGE to slash NIH funding for research on cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and maternal mortality, redirect money away from food and housing programs for veterans, and cut rent subsidies for low-income Americans. It also allows Elon to direct billions of dollars in contracts to his own companies, all while firing the air traffic controllers who keep us safe.
“I will vote against this continuing resolution, and any bills that further Trump’s mission to help out his billionaire friends at the expense of the American people.”
