NORWALK, CT – On Wednesday, August 8, Congressman Jim Himes (CT-4) will hold an information session, “Medicare & My Parents,” where representatives from Medicare, the Southwest Connecticut Agency on Aging, and the Social Security Administration will outline the services they offer and explain how constituents can help their parents and prepare for their own transitions into Medicare. They will discuss the difference between Medicare and Medicare Advantage, how to choose the right plan, who to call with questions about coverage, and applying for Social Security benefits.
