Bridgeport, CT – Congressman Jim Himes (CT-4) will hold a ceremony tonight to announce the winner of this year’s High School Congressional Art Competition. The entries will be on display at the ceremony, which will take place at Beacon Hall on the campus of Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport from 5:00 to 6:30 pm this evening.
The winner will have their piece displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a year alongside winning entries from across the country and will be invited to attend the opening ceremonies in Washington, DC in June. The runners-up will have their work displayed in Himes' Congressional offices in Stamford and Bridgeport.
