Himes joins Librarian of Congress for Remote Learning Discussion
Bridgeport, CT -- Congressman Jim Himes will participate in the following public event open to the press on Tuesday, August 18th.
A Virtual Conversation with the Librarian of Congress
Congressman Himes will join Librarian of Congress Dr. Carla Hayden to discuss digital learning opportunities for children. Dr. Hayden will be joined by Lee Ann Potter, the Director of Education Outreach at the Library of Congress. As school districts make plans for the upcoming academic year, this discussion will advise parents and teachers about online resources that the library has to offer.
