Bridgeport, CT–Congressman Jim Himes (CT-4) will hold an information session for small businesses interested in federal Small Business Innovation Grants and export assistance on Friday, March 25th in Bridgeport. The workshop will also include information on the availability of funding for veteran, women, and minority-owned businesses.

Note: This workshop was initially scheduled for February but was cancelled due to severe weather.

Representatives from various business agencies and organizations will join the Congressman to provide an overview of what technology innovation funding is available and how that funding can be obtained. The event will also include an overview of the informational resources available to help small exporters enter and succeed in the global marketplace.

Participants will have the opportunity to address individual concerns with agency representatives following the presentations.

This seminar is free and open to all local businesses, but due to limited space, R.S.V.P.s are requested. Online registration is available.
