Today, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Hollingsworth v. Perry, the landmark case challenging the constitutionality of Proposition 8. Prop 8 is the California law that bans committed gay and lesbian couples from being recognized by that state. Demonstrators have been outside since the weekend showing their support for overturning the law:
