WASHINGTON, D.C.—As the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver came to a close yesterday, Congressman Jim Himes(CT-4) issued the following statement congratulating two Olympians from Connecticut's Fourth District—Chris Drury of Trumbull and Julie Chu of Fairfield, who brought home silver medals in Men's and Women's Ice Hockey, respectively.

“All of Fairfield County should be proud of our hometown Olympians, Julie Chu and Chris Drury. What an amazing Olympics for the entire U.S. team, winning more medals at a Winter Games than ever before, with two silver medalists from right here in the Fourth District,” said Himes. “I send my sincere congratulations to Julie and Chris and the entire team as they made Connecticut and America proud in Vancouver.”
