Entries are submitted by high school students from schools in Connecticut’s 4th Congressional District and will be judged by a distinguished panel of community artists with teaching and gallery experience.  Congressman Himes will host an awards ceremony and reception at Beacon Hall on Monday, May 17, 2010, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The deadline to register for this year’s competition is Wednesday, May 5, 2010.  A student information and release form must be completed and signed by the student and a faculty member and faxed to the Congressman’s Bridgeport office at (203) 333-6655, attention Peter Yazbak.  Forms are required to be sent no later than May 5, 2010.
