WASHINGTON, DC—Lawmakers representing areas served by the Metro-North rail service today announced plans to introduce legislation to make our nation’s rail systems safer. Metro-North has been plagued by preventable safety issues, which caused incidents such as December’s crash in the Bronx and last May’s employee death in West Haven.
